Until now, I didn't realize inappropriately-timed Halloween decorations were such an epidemic. My friend's former neighbors insisted on hanging one of those Jack O'Lantern garbage bags in their shed window (year round), so every time she looked out her kitchen window into the backyard, a pumpkinface was staring back. Things like that can scar a child, you know.
