Goodbye, my moustache!

I Grew It My Way by Thork Sinatra.

And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final shaving.
My friend, I'll say it clear,
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain.

I've had a moustache that's full.
It's traveled each and ev'ry subway;
And more, much more than this,
I grew it my way.

Facial hair, I've had few;
Indeed, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And dyed it through without exemption.

I planned each shaving well;
Carefully each hair along my chin-way,
But more, much more than this,
I grew it my way.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I shaved off more than I probably should.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I dyed it up and spat on you (sorry about that).
It's in my face, and it stood tall;
And I grew it my way!

I've loved, I've laughed and cried.
I've had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as hairs subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I grew all that;
And may I say - not in a quick way,
No, oh no not me,
I grew it my way.

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not a sexy moustache, then he has naught.
To grow the things he truly feels;
And not the sideburns of one who kneels.
That picture shows, it was under my nose -
And grew it my way!
