Alright, folks, I am finally getting to the point where I have a little time to blog from my crazy trip! I'll start off the best way possible .. .. with Llamas! No, dammit, not Lorenzo Llamas! REAL Llamas!

These are gentle, sexy beasts!

The alpaca, slightly smaller in stature (and intelligence!) than its cousin, the Llama, is mostly used for the wool.

The Llama, on the other hand, is mostly used for transport. However, unless you throw up after every meal, you are not advised to try to mount and ride one of these gentle beasts: They only support weight up to 30 kilos, or 60 pounds.

A Llama is closely related to the camel, another beautiful animal of great wisdom and sexiness.

A common misunderstanding is that the Llama spits on people it doesn't like. This is incorrect - the gentle Llama loves and respects all beings, and would never spit on anyone to settle trifling arguments. Instead, it uses conversation and dialog to settle disputes, and is known for its just and fair judgments based on merit, on mercy, and on its infinite wisdom. The Llama is the national animal, kind of, of Peru!
